A solid, lovingly-crafted silver-handled sabre. Its grip is wrapped in velvety bison leather and gold cord. A brass hand-guard has been added to the pommel, shaped like knuckles. The 34-inch blade is curved slightly and made of steel, however, it is coloured like dark onyx. A blood-red ringlet made entirely of firestone secures the blade to the handle.

The semi-mythical warsabre of Ferrus Kahar IV, it was presumed lost until only recently. According to legend, the sword had spilt so much Wildling blood that the blade was permanently stained black. Whatever the case, Ferrus dubbed it the Widowsbite, after the enviable arachnid that shares its color scheme.
